How many meeting rooms does a 40-person office actually need?
Teams routinely build one big boardroom and then fight over it daily. The right number of rooms comes from how you meet, not from headcount alone.
Count meetings, not people
Most workplace meetings involve two to four people. A single large room reduces everyday availability; several smaller rooms and a couple of phone booths usually serve a team better.
Add for hybrid
Hybrid work increases demand for small video-call spaces. Plan enclosed booths and small rooms with proper AV, or people take calls at their desks and the open plan gets noisy.
